On Good Friday 6th April Southampton played host to an incredible event, the opening of a glorious new fancy dress store, Hollywood ‘just for fun’!
The day kicked off with a terrifyingly ghoulish zombie parade through the town centre featuring characters such as Zombie-bob square pants, Thriller Micheal Jackson, zombie nurses, zombie sailors, a giant cockroach and many more creepy critters.
The zombies then congregated at the front doors of the store where they battled superheroes, magical creatures and childhood legends to be the first through the doors of the wonderful new fancy dress store.
Lenny the Lobster had the honor of cutting the ribbon along with a local councilor. And the Southampton Echo where there to commemorate the event with a few photographs.
The day continued to be busy with lots of intrigued locals popping in to check out the fantastic range of fancy dress costumes, accessories, masks, make-up and contact lenses not to mention balloons and fireworks!
